The Greater Nigeria is the central, unifying news website that gives voice to the concerns and experiences of the global diaspora of Nigerians. With more than 20 million members, this group has grown in economic and political influence, yet has had no communal place to organize and express its diverse viewpoints and opinions. Until now.

Across its content, The Greater Nigeria welcomes diverse perspectives and invites all voices to have a seat at the table. That means that everyone who identifies as Nigerian, including those from different ethnic groups, can comment on articles. We also consider all guest contributions for publication.
This inclusive approach creates space for dynamic discussion, uniting voices across Greater Nigeria. We only ask for constructive, civil conversation and that all refrain from harmful, promotional, or negative discourse.
The Greater Nigeria was founded by a team of native Nigerians with a background in professional journalism. Now living abroad, a hope they keep alive in their hearts is that one day, a greater, more prosperous and secure country will be possible. Better and more plentiful opportunities will exist for Nigerians living abroad.
